A structured, twelve-week course that builds exam technique week by week — taught in small groups by a current examiner, with real practice and precise feedback in every session.
Designed for students in Years 10 and 11 — and especially valuable for those sitting GCSE English Language in Summer 2027 — the programme replaces last-minute cramming with a steady, deliberate build of skill and confidence.
Classes are capped at five students, so every learner is seen, marked and supported every single week.
Each two-hour session follows the same purposeful structure — the loop that turns practice into performance.
We start with students’ own responses to GCSE exam questions, pinpointing exactly where marks are being won and lost.
Clear instruction on examiner expectations and the exam strategies that reliably lift a response.
Authentic GCSE questions completed under real exam conditions, so pressure becomes familiar.
Detailed, examiner-style marking against the same schemes used in public exams.
Every student leaves knowing precisely what to improve before the next session.
One flagship group programme, plus focused one-to-one tuition for students who want extra support alongside school.
Students studying GCSE English Language in Years 10 and 11. It’s especially valuable for those preparing to sit exams in Summer 2027, offering intensive, exam-focused preparation in the crucial months beforehand.
All major boards — AQA, Edexcel, OCR, Eduqas and WJEC. The assessment objectives are broadly similar, but our examiner expertise lets us teach the subtle board-by-board differences that affect marks.
The programme focuses exclusively on GCSE English Language. We also offer one-to-one tuition for both GCSE and A-Level English Literature.
The next 12-week programme begins in the week commencing 14 September 2026.
Because each week builds on the last, we strongly recommend joining from the beginning for the best long-term results.
As a current GCSE & A-Level examiner, Abdul marks student responses using the same schemes applied in public exams — so students get accurate, up-to-date guidance on exactly how to maximise marks.

Yes. Students practise authentic exam questions every week and complete one full GCSE English Language mock under exam conditions, followed by detailed examiner feedback.
All sessions are face-to-face at Gatcombe House, Portsmouth — a professional venue also used locally for exams, helping students grow familiar with real exam conditions.
Each session lasts two hours — enough time for teaching, deliberate practice, personalised feedback and reflection.
